PURPOSE:To provide a shock absorbing member which produces shock absorbing effects corresponding to that of polystyrene foam and which can be easily disposed and neither requires a large space nor causes environmental problem. CONSTITUTION:Tricorns TC1 or TC2 each comprising a trigonal pyramid-like bag filled with air are placed in a cylindrical corrugated fiber board having at least one open end, or an air mat AM is placed in a cylindrical corrugated fiberboard to form a shock absorbing member 14A, which member is used as packing member for copying devices etc. And after unpacking of a packed container, a gimlet G for woodwork is driven through the member 14A to release air so that the bags can be easily taken out of the fiberboard and also the corrugated fiberboard itself is folded to reduce the volume thereof, thereby making it disposable. |
