发明名称 METHOD FOR CONTROLLING CAMBER IN MILL
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To minimize the camber of a material to be rolled by controlling an offset deviation between upper and lower rolls at each pass with a reversible mill which can operate upper and lower roll chocks independently in the horizon tal direction of rolling. CONSTITUTION:As the positions of the roll chocks are deviated in the horizontal direction of rolling, an angular difference between the normal direction connecting the centers of the rolls and the horizontal direction of rolling is controlled at each pass to control the camber of rolled bitten part. Rolling which can control camber securely is performed so that, at each pass, the offset between the upper roll 6a and the lower roll 6b can be changed freely and the biting angle of rolling can be controlled physically. At several passes on the early stage of rolling to plate thickness when camber is apt to occur, camber is controlled by changing an amount of offset only keeping upper and lower axes in a parallel state. At the lower-order passes in an area thin in plate thickness which is important to secure the flat shape of rolling, the upper and lower rolls are crossed with each other to control the amount of crown of the material 5 to be rolled and to be rolled at a fixed crown ratio.</p>
