In a side-wall (12) of a bath-tub (10) there is provided an opening (13) which extends in a downward direction from the upper end of said wall (12) and has a lower edge (14). Said opening (13) may be closed by means of a door (16) brought into contact with the inner side of said wall (12) through a sealing member (17). In order to obtain an initial sealing joint between the door (16) and the side-wall (12), at least within the region of the lower portion of the door (16), before filling the bath-tub (10) with water, the door (16) is provided with a generally hook-shaped member (21, 22) which projects from the outer side thereof and which may be hooked over an edge portion of the side-wall (12) located at the lower edge (14) of said opening (13). |
