<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the workability in the production of the base material of a wreath by easily holding a rod material to a bent shape at the time of the constitution of the wreath by inserting a core material made of a bendable soft metal in a rode material main body made of polyolefinic synthetic resin foam. CONSTITUTION:Bendable rod materials A are curved into an annular shape to be tied to the rear surface of a support material 3 constituted in parallel crosses to produce the base material of a wreath. In this case, each bendable rod material A is formed by inserting a core material 2 made of a bendable soft metal in a rod material main body 1 made of polyolefinic synthetic resin foam. As the polyolefinic synthetic resin foam, for example, polyethylene or polypropylene foam is used and, as the soft metal, a wire material composed of iron, copper, tin or an alloy thereof is used. Further, a bendable sheet B for buffering can be provided by inserting the core materials 2 made of the bendable soft metal in the sheet 5 made of the polyolefinic synthetic resin foam.</p> |
