PURPOSE:To turn a vehicle accurately and surely by bending a set of the second slant groove elements in the opposite directions to each other and deviating the phases from each other circumferentially. CONSTITUTION:The tire head part 1 in a tread width TW has near the center a straight groove 2 continued circumferentially of a tire to maintain drain performance. The groove 2 has two sets of circumferential zigzag grooves 3L, 4L, 3R and 4R on the axial outside of the tire and the respective grooves provide a block pattern formed with a plurality of blocks 6L, 6R connected to each other by cross grooves 5L, 5R. One set of the circumferential zigzag grooves 3L, 4L, 3R and 4R respectively interconnect alternately second slant groove elements 9L, 10L, 9R and 10R bent in one direction at every first slant groove element 7L, 7R, 8R having a length of 2 circumferential pitches in the cross grooves 5L, 5R. Further, the bending directions of one set of the second slant groove elements 9L, 10L, 9R and 10R are opposite to each other and the phrases of them are deviated from each other circumferentially. |
