PURPOSE:To provide an ink jet recorder in which the concentration correction can be carried out depending on the temperature variation of print head even in case of binary encoded data input without sacrificing the speed. CONSTITUTION:A head temperature detecting means 6 built in a print head 5 detects temperature of the print head and a decimation interval data corresponding to the temperature data thus detected is outputted from a decimation interval reference table 1. An image data to be printed is inputted to a data decimation circuit 2 where the image data is decimated based on the decimation interval data. Image data thus decimated is then written in a buffer memory 3 thence transmitted to a head driver 4 which drives print heads 5 for respective colors thus printing the image data. |
