PURPOSE:To provide a polyester excellent in flexibility, transparency, heat resistance, crystallinity, moldability such as formability into film, and weather resistance and to provide a molding such as a fiber, a film or a sheet good in flexibility, transparency, heat resistance and weather resistance and small in a change in the properties with time. CONSTITUTION:A polyester consisting mainly of repeating units derived from an acid component comprising 50-95mol% aromatic dicarboxylic acid residues and 5-50mol% aliphatic dicarboxylic acid residues and a glycol component based on 1,4-butanediol residues and having a melt viscosity of 500 to below 2500 P at 250 deg.C, and a film made therefrom are provided. |
