Process for cracking crude oil and petroleum products and a device for carrying out the same

The proposed process involves subjecting the liquid, raw material to ultrasound treatment in a closed-circulation system, the intensity of the ultrasound being set a 1-10 MW/m<2>. Between 0.1 and 80 vol % of a dispersing agent is introduced into the treatment area at the same time as the raw material; it sustains static pressure of between 0.2 and 5 MPa. The device used in carrying out this process contains an ultrasonic activator which generates ultrasound at an intensity of 1-10 MW/m<2> and is connected to an appliance (19) for separating the liquid and vapour phases of the processed crude, and a device (27) for condensing the end product.
