<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of paper clogging when a placed sheet is sent out by a paper feeding device. CONSTITUTION:A pressing means 25 for pressing the front edge side in the feedingout direction A of a sheet S is installed on the device body 13 of a paper feeding device, and an upper cover (weight member) 21 for pressing the nearly whole region on the placed sheet S except the part pressed by the pressing means 25 from the upper by the dead weight is provided. The upper cover 21 is supported in free opening/closing between a pressing position for pressing the placed sheet S and a retreat position for facilitating the set of the sheet S. When the sheet S having the folding creases is sent out, the upper cover 21 is set at a pressing position after the sheet S is placed, and the folding creases are corrected to a flat form by the pressing by the dead weight.</p> |
