<p>The present antilock brake system is equipped with a valve (4) in the vacuum line (1) connecting the servo booster (3) to the engine (2). The valve (4) is operated by a motor (5) connected to a pressure responsive means (8) in one of the brake circuits (7) or to the wheel speed sensors. When the wheels are locked during braking, the valve (4) causes a decrease of the vacuum inside the brake booster (3), thereby reducing the brake pressure.</p> |
