PURPOSE: To improve thermal shock behavior by treating a carrier with a water based dispersion of a filling material, particularly paraffin based wax having a prescribed m.p. to be previously coated with the filling material particle and after drying, heating the treated carrier at a temp. equal to or above the m.p. of the paraffin based wax. CONSTITUTION: The water based dispersion of the paraffin based wax having >=80 deg.C m.p. as the filling material is used. That is, the carrier is treated with the water based dispersion at room temp. to be previously coated with the super fine particle of the filler material. After being dried, the carrier is heated at a temp. higher than the m.p. of the filling material by 30-70 deg.C for about 10-90 min. The water based dispersion is prepared as a superfine particle solid dispersion by emulsifying the filling material in heated water in the presence of an emulsifier under the action of high shearing force and cooling the emulsion to room temp. |
