Interconnection system for chain links 1, 1' adapted so as to be capable of being assembled in number to form an endless conveyor path or belt by spindles 3 through the eye parts 2, 2' of each chain link, so that neighbouring chain links can rotate around the spindle in a hinge-like manner. In each chain link, at a distance from the outer edge 9, a clearance 5 is formed at the hole for the spindle, and the outer end of the spindle 3 has a material offset in relation to the centre line of the spindle, and the spindle is moreover adapted in such a manner that it yields during mounting and demounting, while, during normal operation, it remains behind the outer hinge eye 4. <IMAGE>
