PURPOSE: To enhance productivity and reliability by conducting the closing and shape forming of a discharge tube with a drawing die and a forming die in a single working process at the same time, and inclining the moving region of pinch and a discharge space to prevent the generation of a pocket. CONSTITUTION: Required members such as an electrode are mounted on a tube member formed in the specified form, they are drawn with drawing dies in a main part and side part for forming, and inert gas is introduced into a discharge chamber 3 by applying pressure. They are conducted in a single process, and the volume variation ratio in the discharge chamber 3 can be reduced. An inclined part 17 having an inclination of 20-30 deg. is formed in the moving region of a pinch 4 and the discharge tube 3 to suppress the formation of a pocket, and the generation of troubles such as bursting is prevented. Working efficiency is enhanced, and productivity and reliability are enhanced. |
