PURPOSE:To provide a dielectric ceramic composition effectively applicable to the dielectric material of a large-capacitance layered ceramic-capacitor manufactured in a small size, a small dielectric loss and large insulation-resistance through a low-temperature sintering process by manufacturing the dielectric ceramic composition into a composition containing specified components and being represented by a specified formula. CONSTITUTION:A dielectric ceramic composition is composed of the main component of a composition manufactured through the process of substituting, for part of pb electrons, at least a kind of elementary atom selected from a group consisting of Ca, Ba and Sr, and an auxiliary component containing 0.01 to 0.5 pts.wt. of Pb (Al1/2Nb1/2) O3 against 100 pts.wt. of the main component, so that it may contain Pb (Fe1/2Nb1/2)O3, Pb (Zn1/3Nb2/3) O3 and Pb (M1/2W1/2) O3, and also may be manufactured into a composition represented by a specified formula. In this formula, R is at least a kind of elementary atom selected from a group consisting of Ca, Ba and Sr, and M is at least a kind of elementary atom selected from a group consisting of Zn, Mg and Ni. The signs of a, b and c represent respective positive-numbers respectively satisfying the inequalities of 0.00<a<0.10 and 0.00<b+c<0.50. |
