DATA TRANSFER SYSTEM FOR LOCATION REGISTER

PURPOSE:To attain an outgoing and an incoming call from a communication network not subscribed thereto. CONSTITUTION:When a call request comes from a terminal equipment 31 of a communication network 11 not subscribed thereto, an exchange station 21 receiving it sets the subscriber information read request to a visitor location register 51 in the communication network 11. The register 51 retrieves the subscriber information of the subscriber and when the information is not available, the register sends an inter-network subscriber information read request to a home location register 42 of a communication network to which the subscriber is registered, the register 42 reads the subscriber information and transfers the information to the visitor location register 51 as a reply of the inter-network subscriber information read, the register 51 transfers the subscriber information to the exchange station 21 and the exchange station 21 references the subscriber information to implement usual dialing processing.
