<p>PURPOSE:To provide a cable take-up device which measure the absolute rotary angle of a drum easily and accurately without being affected by the type of the drum. CONSTITUTION:A protruding object 12 indicating the rotary reference position is provided at a circular frame 2a of a drum and the device is provided with a laser switch 10 for detecting the protruding object 12, a rotary encoder 14 for detecting the rotation of the drum via the rotary axis of an under roller 6a which is tangential to the circumferential part of the rotary frame 2a, and a measuring means for adjusting the absolute angle of detection signal of the rotary encoder 14 in response to the detection signal of the laser switch 10. Then, using the rotary angle of the drum adjusted by the measuring means, the timing for traversing the cable 8 is detected, and then the cable 8 is aligned to the drum and is taken up.</p> |
