PURPOSE: To suppress a melting current to a low level by comprising, in a fuse link, one ore more bent parts of a right or almost a right angle. CONSTITUTION: Since a fuse 10 requires a low melting current, a power source voltage and a chip area required for a driver transistor are minimum. For the fuse 10, the width dimension is basically uniform over the entire main axis of fuse links 11 and 13, while at least one almost-right angled bent part is provided in the fuse link. Thus, due to crowding of current, a current crowding is concentrated on the bent part of the fuse link, so that the input current of the fuse link increases, and when a certain current density is reached at an inside corner, a fuse material begins to melt. |
