Novel packaging for food products - comprises sachet closed at transverse ends with welded longitudinal sides and hanging strap near one end

The food product (2) is enveloped by a packaging sachet (1) formed from a section of continuous band closed at two transverse ends (4,5).The longitudinal sides of the sachet are joined by welding between the transverse ends. An opening (8) is made between the edges near to one of the closed ends and through which passes and is engaged the supple fastener (3) which is accessible from outside the sachet. The supple fastener (3) is formed by a strap fastened to one of the ends of the food product (2). The strap is used for suspending the food product for its maturing and presentation. USE - Packaging and maturing of sausages.
