The tray has a base (5) with a fixed edge attached to the lower part of a vertical side wall (3. It is attached through a flexible hinge (8) also made of plastics. Its three free edges carry locking tabs (10) which engage in openings (9) located in the lower edges of three further side walls (1, 2, 4). The side walls are connected to each other by flexible hinges (7) which allows them to be folded one onto the other. The side walls are made of reinforced plastics with strengthening pillars (6) provided to prevent collapse when the trays are stacked in piles. USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for fruit and vegetable produce. Can be folded flat to occupy reduced volume when empty.
