PURPOSE:To improve weatherability and reflectivity by providing a light reflection assisting layer to be directly deposited on a light reflection layer consisting essentially of aluminum. CONSTITUTION:This optical information recording medium is constituted by laminating a light transparent substrate, a light absorption layer contg. dyestuff, a light reflection assisting layer consisting of a light transparent resin, the light reflection layer consisting essentially of the aluminum and a protective layer. The light reflection assisting layer is constituted of a crosslinked and cured resin and the light reflection layer is directly deposited on the light reflection assisting layer. The thickness of the light reflection layer is preferably set at >=120nm and the content of impurities exclusive of the aluminum is preferably 0.3 to 3.5wt.%. The impurities exclusive of the aluminum include at least one kind among Si, Mn, Mg, Fe, Cu, Cr, Zn, Tb, Gd, Sm, La, Tm, Ce, Zr and Ge. The material of the light reflection assisting layer is preferably the resin which is crosslinked and cured by UV light, irradiation with electron beams, heat or other methods. |
