PURPOSE:To provide an electrophotographic device capable of shortening a time from the reception of data from external equipment to the completion of printing. CONSTITUTION:When the power source of a laser printer is applied, a controller inhibits the transmission of the printing data of a video controller circuit board and the data of the external equipment (S1). Then, the temperature of a heating roller (the detection temperature Tf) is detected (S2) and when the detection temperature is lower than a reference temperature (S3:NO), a heater is turned on (S4). After that, the reference temperature is changed by key processing (S6) when the display key, upper and lower keys and a setting key on a key panel are operated (S5:YES). When the detection temperature is the reference temperature or more (S3:YES). the heater is turned off (S7) and the transmission of the printing data to the video controller circuit board and the data of the external equipment are permitted. |
