<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a user from feeling troublesomeness by adaptively assigning address spaces stored in storage means onto the address space of a device to eliminate a need of operation to set addresses to be assigned to extended substrates. CONSTITUTION:The size of the address space occupied by the extended substrate set to a slot 100, 110, or 120 is recognized, and correspondence relations between the address of a device 1 and the slot select signal which selects the slot 100, 110, or 120 are set on a mapping table 50 based on the recognition result. Consequently, address spaces of extended substrates or the like set to slots 100, 110, and 120 are adaptively assigned on the address space of the device 1 without overlapping. Thus, the operation to set addresses to be assigned to extended substrates or the like is unnecessary.</p> |
