<p>PURPOSE:To easily connect the electrode of holding capacitors to a common electrode with a simple construction by connect one electrode of the holding capacitors to segment electrods and electrically connecting the other electrodes via conductive projections to the common electrode. CONSTITUTION:The electrodes 11a on the upper side of the holding capacitors are continuously formed of an ITO film, In2O3 film, SnO2 film, etc., together with the segment electrodes 11. These electrode 11a forms the holding capacitors 5 by holding a dielectric substance film 10. The segment electrodes 11 constitute a display picture element region. The segment electrodes 11 are electrically connected to the drain electrodes 6 of TFTs 6. A metal is laminated on the ends of the electrode 4 for the lower capacitors to form the conductive projections 12. An oriented film is thereafter formed and an adhesive is printed to the circumference of the size of the panel. A glass substrate 2a formed with the common electrode 3 is superposed by interposing spacers and the substrates are brought into pressurized contact with and are stuck to each other. The conductive projections 12 are formed slightly flat so that the conduction with the common electrode 3 of the substrate 2 a facing the holding capacitors 4 is obtd.</p> |
