PURPOSE:To prevent data rewriting from being concentrated into a specific storage area by uniforming data rewriting frequency in all data storage areas in an EEPROM. CONSTITUTION:The EEPROM 19 is connected to a microcomputer 16 and a management table for allowing an address (logical address) in the EEPROM 19 specified by a host apparatus to correspond to a practical address (physical address) of an EEPROM 13 is formed in the EEPROM 19. Corresponding relation between logical addresses and physical addresses is changed. Thereby even if the same logical address is specified from the host apparatus, the physical address of the EEPROM 13 in which digital data are practically rewritten is changed, so that data rewriting frequency in all the data storage areas of the EEPROM 13 can be uniformed. |
