PURPOSE:To prevent the gelatinization of an acrylamide solution before injecting the solution into a capillary due to a polymerizing agent mixed with the acrylamide solution in a liquid feeding flow passage by filling the capillary with a gel by feeding the gel solution to the flow passage from another flow passage. CONSTITUTION:An acrylamide solution is injected into a capillary 4 from a solution tank 5 through a solution feeding pump 1 and the flow passage of a flow passage switching valve 2 and fed to a waste liquid tank 8. Then the acrylamide solution mixed with a polymerizing agent is injected into a loop 7 through the valve 2 by using a syringe 6. Thereafter, the flow passage of the valve 2 is changed so that the solution from the pump 1 can push out the acrylamide solution in the loop 7 to the capillary 4. As a result, the capillary 4 is filled up with the acrylamide solution. When, for example, an air gap is formed between the solution in the tank 5 and the acrylamide solution by blowing a small amount of air into the loop 7 after the solution mixed with the polymerizing agent is injected into the loop 7, the dilution of the acrylamide solution with the solution in the tank 5 can be prevented, because the acrylamide solution does not come into contact with the solution in the tank 5. |
