<p>PURPOSE:To omit a power supply like a battery, etc., of a position pointer by supplying the electric power to an additional mechanism provided on the position pointer by radio. CONSTITUTION:A tablet 1 contains a power supply loop coil 16a, a 3rd amplifier 17 and an oscillation circuit 18 as the mechanism which supply the power to an additional mechanism 21. Meanwhile the position pointer 2 contains a power receiving coil L2 and a power receiving capacitor C2 as the mechanisms which supply the power to the mechanism 21. The coil L2 and the capacitor C2 construct a power receiving tuning circuit which works by the power supply frequency. The circuit 18 oscillates the radio wave of the power supply frequency f2 based on a control signal. This radio wave is supplied to the coil 16a via the amplifier 17. At the same time, the amplifier 17 amplifies the power up to a necessary level for supply. Thus the voltage is induced in the power receiving LC tuning circuit.</p> |
