PURPOSE:To provide a supporting and fixing method for an inner vessel, which houses a superconducting coil, effective for prevention of destruction of a superconductive state. CONSTITUTION:Load-supporting bodies 1, 2 and 3, having suitable rigidity, are arranged properly in accordance with the deformation mode. Especially, in order to suppress the deformation mode in the outside direction of a superconducting coil surface, the load-supporting body 3 is provided on both outside and inside circumferences of the inner vessel 5, and they are supported and fixed rigidly. The load-supporting body 1 and one end of the load-supporting body 3 are fixed to the inner vessel, and the other end 9 of the load-supporting body 3 is fixed to the side face of the outer vessel 7 on the side having high rigidity structure, and the inner vessel 5 is cantilever-supported from the position of low vibration external force. As a result, the vibration, with which the surface of the superconducting coil is deformed toward outside direction, of the inner vessel, leading to the destruction of a superconducting state, can be prevented, a low vibration state can be accomplished, and the reliability of the superconducting magnet structure can be improved. |
