PURPOSE:To regulate a diaphragm whether a camera main body is to cope with electromagnetic driving or to cope with manual operation. CONSTITUTION:This lens barrel possesses a first diaphragm driving plate 9 and a second diaphragm driving plate 11 respectively provided so as to rotate around an optical axis, a diaphragm blade 10 which engages with both the diaphragm driving plates 9 and 11 and performs a diaphragm action when one of the diaphragm driving plates 9 and 11 rotates and their relative rotational angle around the optical axis is changed, a diaphragm operation ring 8 provided so as to rotate around the optical axis against a lens holding ring 5 and connected to the first diaphragm driving plate 9, a diaphragm driving motor 6 driving in accordance with a diaphragm driving control signal from the camera main body and a gear 6a and a sector gear 11a connecting the diaphragm driving motor 6 and the second diaphragm driving plate 11 so as to rotate the second diaphragm driving plate 11 by driving the diaphragm driving motor 6. |
