The device has a cap type housing (10).. This has a one-piece moulded slit (5) inside which can move in first (X) and second (-X) directions. It also contains a triple coded lock for the slit (5). The lock includes bolt elements (7, 43,43') which have independent unlocking functions. The lock only works in the first position of the slit (5) and can only be released by a coded actuator or key (3). When the key (3) is inserted, the slit (5) is, as a result, moved from a first position to a second position. As the key (3) is withdrawn the slit (5) is accordingly moved from the second position to the first. In the first position, the door is open. In the second position the door is closed but unlocked. To close and lock the door, the slit (5) is put in a third position when a switch tappet (21) of the position switch (2) is driven into a hole (35) in the key (3). USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for security door locking system etc. Ensures against false locking, has small compact construction with few components and has high mechanical holding force.
