The housing of the device is divided into two parts (12,14) each connected to the braided outer conductor (30,38) of a coaxial cable (26,28). A coaxial copper tube (46), pref. a semi-rigid cable, extends through both parts of the housing with its outer conductor (50) connected directly to one part (14) and by capacitors (54) to the other part (12). The inner conductors (32,40;48) are connected together and isolated from the housing, with ferrite rings (56) arranged at intervals around the inner conductor (48) of the tube (46). ADVANTAGE - Sufficient screening is achieved by a structure taking up less space and suitable for economic mfr.
