A lead sealing wire is used for protection, and it is insertable in aligning operations (27;29) in the catch (21) and the head (18), and to provide a seal. The catch (21) is radially led and held in the head (18). The head (18) of the cotter pin (2) has a pin rotation slot (22) for release on the cotter pin from the cover (1). The guide (20) for the catch is undercut, and is open towards the top side of the head (18), to form the pin rotation slot (22). ADVANTAGE - Compared to existing system one pin only is required. This system can be used generally for locking covers with or without sealing.
