摘要 Digital colour signals (R,G,B) are taken through a primary colour correction (6). The corrected signals are then matrixed with a luminance and chrominance signals. Correction circuits (9,10) are provided for separate correction of the luminance and colour saturation. The corrected luminance and chrominance signals undergo a multi-sector colour correction (11). The output of the latter is a corrected luminance and chrominance signal or a corrected colour signal. The digital video signals and/or the corrected digital video signals have a bit length of 8 or 10. The video signals processing occurs over more than 10 bits, and the corrected digital video signals are rounded down to 8 to 10 bit width signals. USE/ADVANTAGE - Colour film. Provides improved colour selection even for old films with low colour saturation.
