The holder has a T-shaped retaining part (2) cut out of flat sheet material and connected by its base side (3) to the support plate (11) which is pref. made of cardboard. Its other sides are sepd. by the edges of a corresp. cut-out of the support plate. The vertical arm (13) of the retaining part (2) is rectangular and the retaining part itself is folded or bent so that this arm comes to rest at least partially above the sheet face of the support plate while its cross arm (12) is at least partially under same. The rod-like instrument (11) can then be pushed into the flap (10) formed by the bend or fold in the upright arm. USE/ADVANTAGE - Holder esp. for writing instruments. The card can be used as advertising carrier and is made from environmentally friendly disposable material.
