For the simultaneous determination of an antigen of a pathogen and at least one antibody against the same pathogen on the principle of a heterogeneous immunoassay, the sample is incubated with receptors R1 to R4, where R1 and R3 are able to bind specifically with the antigen to be determined, R2 and R4 are able to bind specifically with the antibody to be determined, R1 and R2 mediate the binding to the solid phase, and R3 and R4 carry the same label, and, after separation of the solid from the liquid phase, the label in one of the two phases is determined. |
