The holder (10) bears against the underside of the top plate (5) of the bridge. Its rear end curves round a transverse rod (13), while a bar (14) parallel to the rod engages under its forward end. The bar and rod can be arranged to pass through apertures of mating cross-section in ribs (6) below the bride plate. There can be a protrusion (18) on the holder in front of the bridge plate forward edge, forming a stop for the extension (7) when swung up into the working position.
