Immediately behind the sepn. unit is a second similar suction roller (10). The control unit contains a curve shaft (16) which rotates once on every work stroke of the sepn. unit. A compensation roller (18) is arranged on a pivotable lever (20), which describes a pivot angle around a pivot axis (38), the size and angle speed of which is controllable by the control unit. ADVANTAGE - The cover strip is fed to the sepn. unit without the delivery device needing to be stopped.
