摘要 The vibration meter is held by hand against the surface of an object whose vibration is to be measured, and contains several vibration sensors (32A,32C), each measuring the vibration amplitude in its measurement axis and producing corresp. measurement signals. A vibration sensor holder (31) has a rigid body which carries the sensors at the same angle to a central axis. Each measurement axis intercepts the central axis at the point (U2) at which the meter is applied to the object surface. A computer derives the vibration amplitude in the direction of two or three axes, which intersect each other at the measurement point, from the measurement signals. USE/ADVANTAGE- E.g for measuring vibrations in operating system for safety checks. Vibration amplitude can be measured in three mutually perpendicular directions simultaneously at point with contact resonant frequencies over wide frequency range.
