摘要 <p>The invention relates to an optical transmission system with a laser diode (2) and a photodiode (3) which is coupled thereto and the photocurrent (IPhoto) of which is supplied to a regulating circuit (32) for regulating the optical power (Popt). The regulating circuit provides a first and second manipulated variable (Umod, U0) for a modulation current (Imod) and a bias current (I0). The regulating circuit (32) contains an arrangement for determining a differential quotient (k0) formed from the optical power (Popt) and from the laser current (Ilaser) flowing through the laser diode. It is proposed to provide the regulating circuit (32), on the one hand, for generating the first manipulated variable (Umod) by means of a controlled variable (Um) derived from the mean variable of the photocurrent (IPhoto). On the other hand, the regulating circuit (32) is provided for generating the second manipulated variable (U0) from the measured differential quotient (k0), from the mean variable (Pm) of the optical power (Popt) and from the mean value (Im) of the laser diode current (Ilaser). <IMAGE></p>
