<p>The object of the present invention is to provide an x-ray mirror material of high reflectance having a surface roughness which is very small and further that the film density is large. A Pt alloy film is provided as a mirror surface. A reflecting surface material for an x-ray mirror is expressed as the general formula Pt1-x Mx. This is deposited on a levelly polished surface of a substrate. Where M indicates one or more substances of Mo, Ru, Rh, Pd, Ta, W, and Au, and X lies in the range 0.005 </= x </= 0.10. <IMAGE></p> |
