<p>A hydrostatic transmission (1) having a pump (2) and a hydraulic motor (3) which are arranged in a main line (4), an oil leakage line (23) of the hydraulic motor (3) being connected to the low-pressure line (6) of the main line (4), is to be designed such that the housing of the hydraulic motor (3) is released from unacceptably high pressures of the main line (4).
