<p>The machine consists of a frame 1 fitted with a number of blades 3 and extending in a horizontal plane for cutting blocks of stone into slabs 5 and a motorised mechanism with a rod 13 and a handle 15, to move the frame 1 back and forth along the length of the blades 3 to produce the cutting motion of the blades, the said frame 1 being suspended by means of links 7 that permit it to oscillate; the fulcrums 4 for oscillation of the said links 7 can be moved horizontally by means of motor reduction gears 23 slaved to the top position of the frame 1, to maintain the oscillation of the frame 1 symmetrical about a position of maximum lowering during each oscillation from the start to the end of cutting the block.
