PURPOSE:To provide a fuel heating control method for a flexible fuel vehicle engine, by which stable combustion can be attained and the power consumption can be limited to the minimum. CONSTITUTION:According to the alcohol concentration, a warming up mid-way decision value T1 and a warming up completion decision value T2 are set in S114 S115, and if the cooling water temperature Tw is lower than a warming up mid-way decision value T1 in S116, a port heater unit is put in its heating state. If the cooling water temperature Tw is higher than the warming completion decision value T2 in S117, the port heater unit is put in its non-heating state. Further, if the cooling water temperature Tw is above the warming up mid-way decision value T1 and below the warming up completion decision value T2 in S118, the port heater unit is put in the heating state in the idling state, and the port heater unit is put in the non-heating state in the non-idling state. |
