PURPOSE:To provide a vesicle-containing substance excellent in mechanical strength, having high sensitivity and capable of simply and precisely controlling the mutual diffusion of inner and outer phase substances and a method controlling the mass diffusion of the vesicle-containing substance. CONSTITUTION:A vesicle 11 is formed from an anionic bimolecular film and a cis-trans photoisomerization acceptor 14 and a doner 15 discharging an electron by the irradiation with specific exciting light are absorbed on the interface thereof. Substances 22, 24 reacting with each other are arranged to the inner and outer phases of the vesicle 11. The acceptor 14 generates cis-isomerization by the irradiation with light having a wavelength different from that of the exciting light and trans-isomerization is generated by the chain electron relay between the doner 15 and the acceptor 14 due to the irradiation with the exciting light. The transmission of the substances 22, 24 passing through the vesicle 11 is increased and decreased on the basis of the cis-trans isomerization of the acceptor 14 to control the chemical reaction due to the mutual diffusion of the substances 22, 24 of the inner and outer phases. |
