PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of seizure of a brake and engine stall by still operating a parking brake when a transmission lever is shifted from a parking range to a running range, and automatically release the parking brake when a starting condition is effected. CONSTITUTION:An electronic control unit (ECU) 63 receives detected signals from a foreward/back changeover lever switch 64, an engine speed sensor 65, a shift position sensor 63, an accelerator opening sensor 70, and a foot brake switch 98. Required control signals based on the respective detected signals are output to a hydraulic control device 60, for controlling supply/discharge of pressure oil in respect to a clutch or a brake of a transmission. When a parking brake starting is controlled, a parking brake 8 is operated and a transmission lever 62 is shifted to a running range. In the case that an accelerating pedal 69 is operated and an engine speed of an internal combustion engine 11 is varied by more than a specified value, a release signal is output to the parking brake 88 at the first time. |
