The relay detects a state of load ground fault in a direct current distribution panel. The device includes a primary coils (LP1,LP2), a secondary coils (LS1,LS2,LS3, LS4,LS5) which generates a corresponding voltages, a pulse generator (300) which generates a low frequency pulse signal, a (-) ground current detector (310) which detects a (-) ground fault in the load, a (+) ground current detector(330) which detects a (+) ground fault in the load, a pulse generation and direct voltage control means (30) which contains an over voltage detector (350), a ground current detecting means (40) which contains ground current detectors (400A-400U), and a load fault signal output control means (50).
