PURPOSE:To change the characteristics of a device continuously in response to the input of vibration, and realize various characteristics. CONSTITUTION:A liquid sealed vibration isolator is provided with a main liquid chamber A, of which chamber wall is made of a thick rubber elastic material wall 1 for supporting a vibrating material, and a partitioning plate 3 for blocking the main liquid chamber A and formed with a throttle flow passage 31 in the periphery thereof, and an auxiliary liquid chamber B, which and the main liquid chamber A are blocked by the partitioning plate 3 and which holds the sealed liquid flowed thereinto through the throttle flow passage 31. This vibration isolator also has movable walls 4, 5, which are provided in the inner periphery of both surfaces of the partitioning plate 3 facing to the main liquid chamber A and the auxiliary liquid chamber B and which form a part of the chamber wall of the main liquid chamber A and the auxiliary liquid chamber B, and driving means 6, 7, which are provided inside of the partitioning wall 3 and which moves the movable walls 4, 5 in response to the input of vibration. When the movable walls 4, 5 are moved so as to accelerate the liquid flow of the throttle flow passage 31 at the time of input of the vibration, the dynamic spring constant of the device in this area becomes the maximum or minimum, and the dynamic spring constant can be controlled at the maximum value or the minimum value continuously by controlling the moving quantity of the movable walls 4, 5. |
