PURPOSE:To provide a molding composition having metal platability despite its composition consisting of flame-retarded nylon 46 resin. CONSTITUTION:The resin composition is composed of a nylon 46 resin, 5-40wt.% of a powdery inorganic silicate filler, 10-40wt.% of a halogen-based flame- retardant, 0.5-2wt.% of antimony trioxide flame-retarding assistant and 0.1-1wt.% of a polytetrafluoroethylene resin produced by emulsion polymerization. The plating-inhibiting action of trivalent antimony is compensated by the fluororesin (a non-dripping agent). |
