PURPOSE:To provide an automatic measuring method by which accumulation of errors is not brought about and the displacing work is simple and hence, can be finished in a short time and the displacing accuracy is not essential and further the position of a shielding machine can be automatically measured in a straight or curved position. CONSTITUTION:A detector 1a is installed in the position T1 and a target 25 of a shielding machine 23 is picked-up by CCD cameras 11a, 11b to measure the position of the shielding machine 23. When the target 25 can not be picked-up by CCD camera 11a, 11b, the base 9 is turned to the position where the target 25 can be caught. Moreover, when the shielding machine is moved forward, another detector 1b is set at the position T2 and the CCD camera 31a is picked-up by CCD cameras 11a, 11b to obtain the position and also the CCD camara 31b is piked-up by the CCD cameras 11a, 11b likewise to know the position. The target 25 is picked up by the CCD camaras 31a, 31b to measure the position of the shielding machine 23. As the shielding machine moves forward, these two detectors 1a, 1b are by turns displaced to obtain the position of shielding machine 23. |
