PRODUCTION OF SILANE-GRAFTED RESIN COMPOSITION AND PRODUCTION OF MOLDED ARTICLE OF SILANE-CROSS-LINKED RESIN COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To provide a process for stably producing a silane-grafted polyolefin resin composition and a molded article of a silane-cross-linked polyolefin resin composition having high quality at a low cost without causing handling troubles. CONSTITUTION:The silane-grafted polyolefin resin composition is produced by grafting an organic silane compound to a polyolefin resin in an extruder until the silane-grafting ratio reaches at least 20%, adding 10-200 pts.wt. of various fillers for modification to the polyolefin resin in the extruder based on 100 pts.wt. of the polyolefin resin and kneading the mixture. The molded article of a silane-cross-linked polyolefin resin composition is produced by compounding 0.03-0.5 pts.wt. of a silanol condensation catalyst to the above resin, charging the resin mixture to an extruder, extrusion-forming the mixture and brining the molded article into contact with water to effect the cross-linking of the composition.
