PURPOSE:To rigidly join a rim and a disk of disk wheel of a vehicle without deformation by a lap joint system of frictional welding method. CONSTITUTION:The disk shaped disk B is fixed on a holding jig 22 which is fitted on an upper outer periphery of a rotating shaft 18. The rim A is arranged on the outer periphery of the disk B in a state in which a projection (a) formed on an inner periphery of it is abutted on the outer periphery of the disk B. The rim A is surrounded by quartered pressing pieces 32 which are arranged in a ring shape. When the rotating shaft 18 is rotated, the holding jig 22 is integrally rotated with the disk B. When the pressing pieces 32 are lowered together with the rim A and the disk B, the pressing pieces 32 are contracted by taper parts 13 of cylindrical bodies which are provided on the outer periphery of the pressing pieces 32. The projection (a) of the rim A is abutted on the outer periphery of the disk B by the inner periphery of the pressing pieces 32. Frictional heat is generated between the projection of the rim and the outer periphery of the disk and, when rotating is stopped, the rim and the disk are joined. |
